Stick League Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Wonder Global Inc (“Stick League”, “we”) for your use of the Stick League app for iPhone and the services behind it. By using the app you agree to them and to the Stick League Privacy Policy.

The app is also covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and that agreement differ, that agreement governs your use of the app.

Stick League turns photos of sticks you find into collectible digital cards. A machine-learning model describes the stick, gives it a score, a rarity and a short review. Scores and rarities are partly random by design; they are entertainment, not an appraisal. The app also runs leaderboards, a monthly vote, hunts and friendly battles between cards.

Stick League is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Official Stick Reviews, Stick Nation or Battlesticks.

You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

• Accounts are anonymous and tied to your device. If you delete the app or reset it, your account and cards may be lost. You can delete your account from the You tab at any time.
• Pick a name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone. We may rename or remove accounts that break this.

Free

You can scan one stick a day. Free cards can be shared and expire 24 hours after they are made unless you subscribe.

Stick League Pro

Pro is a weekly or yearly subscription bought through Apple and charged to your Apple ID at the price shown when you subscribe. It gives unlimited scans (within a fair-use daily cap), permanent cards, ranked leaderboards, tournaments, battles and illustrated art on rare cards. It renews automatically until cancelled. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms; manage or cancel in your iPhone’s Settings under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs out.

Prices can change; we tell you before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

You keep the rights to the photos you take. By scanning a photo you give us a licence to store it, run it through our models, show the resulting card to other users in the app’s feeds, leaderboards and tournaments, and reproduce it in the share images the app makes for you. You can delete a card at any time, which ends that licence for that card except for copies you have already shared.

Only scan things you are allowed to photograph. Do not upload photos of people who have not agreed, or anything unlawful, hateful or sexual. Cards reported by three users are hidden automatically and may be removed.

Do not use bots, multiple accounts, edited images or exploits to gain XP, ranks, votes or battle wins. We may remove entries, reset scores or close accounts that do.

We can change the app and these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from the You tab. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
